Automated Expense Reports

Expense reports are universally disliked. We designed a bespoke automation that quietly took over the heavy lifting. The solution monitored key email addresses to automatically identify incoming invoices and travel-related expenses. Each document was read, relevant data extracted, and the invoice or receipt saved in the appropriate Google Drive folder.

At the same time, extracted data was logged into a central Excel file, creating a single source of truth for all expense activity. At month-end, the system generated and sent a comprehensive report for review and approval — eliminating the need for manual compilation.
